Veteran England lock Simon Shaw is likely to miss next weekend's Six Nations match against Scotland because of a shoulder injury he sustained against Ireland.
The London Wasps second row hurt his left shoulder early in England's 20-16 defeat at Twickenham and is almost certainly out of the March 13 match at Murrayfield.
He could return for the following week's tournament-closer in France, the Rugby Football Union said Friday.
Fullback Delon Armitage is recovering from a rib injury sustained in the same game and his chances of playing Scotland will be assessed over the weekend.
